Loes van Dijk
Founder of Climate Court
Opening Keynote Speaker Loes van Dijk
Climate Change Journalist – ESG Litigation – Climate Justice – UCL LLM in Corporate Law
Loes is a forward-thinking legal professional with an LLM in corporate law. While working as an independent legal consultant, Loes identified two critical issues: inconsistent reporting on global climate litigation and companies struggling to grasp its impact and meaning. This fuelled her creation of Climate Court, an initiative providing comprehensive and straightforward reporting on global climate litigation and environmental regulation.
Loes further assists lawyers by consulting on (early-stage) litigation, strengthening their fight for environmental justice. Driven by a steadfast commitment to sustainability, human rights, and legal innovation, Loes is a catalyst for positive change in corporate practices and legal discourse.
