IN JOY VINTAGE
SUSTAINABLE FASHION
IN JOY Vintage is an International Association with no lucrative purpose, promoting Sustainable Fashion, by tackling major issues such as the unstoppable rise of toxic waste, the exploitation of human lives, the constant consumer’s demand for new garments instigated by social media influencer’s marketing, which are the main causes for the increasing global pollution.
Our corporate aim is to educate an international audience of consumers, guiding them towards a more conscious choice, encouraging the recycle of pre-owned vintage items to reduce the constant demand of new garments, protecting the environment with a drastic reduction of toxic waste deriving from fast fashion’s brand in total support of ethical choices.
We are supported by Environmental Agencies, Ethical Associations, Academic Institutions, Sustainable Fashion Brands, International Ministries of the Environment.
MISSION
IN JOY Vintage is a no – profit organisation, launched in April 2022, by Iri Nunziante aiming at promoting Sustainable Fashion internationally, with a series of Webinars, Podcasts and live Events, in order to raise awareness and raising concern about the damages to the environment caused by the fast fashion industry and the infringements of human rights, and the enslaving of factory workers forced into inhuman working conditions because of disadvantaged backgrounds and lack of alternative choices
Our mission is to encourage the Fashion Industry towards sustainable standards, using primarely biodegradable materials, to minimize the disposal of toxic waste, giving back to nature what has been taken, without further harming the environment and operating the principles of Circular Economy Thanks to a series of Webinars – Podcasts and Live Events we are hoping to grow concern, urging the fashion industry to a radical change. We will facilitate new partnerships between Vintage Stores, Ethical Fashion Designers, Supply Chain, Manufactures aiming at neutralising the toxic messages of social media influencers paid by fast fashion brands which are promoting daily, the unhealthy urge of creating a constant demand of new garments with a consequent overproduction placed on the market.
